Taiwan Memories ② ~Christmas Prom~

One of the great things about Yuan Ze University is that there are many international students. On campus, you can hear many languages such as English, Chinese, and Korean, and it is easy to experience different cultures in daily life. The university also holds many events so international students can enjoy Taiwanese culture. Among all the events, the one that left the strongest impression on us was the Christmas Prom.

On that day, many students dressed up and gathered together, creating a bright and international atmosphere. Through different activities and food, we were able to talk and interact with students from many countries. We danced to music, joined games with students we met for the first time, and spent time laughing together.

At the end of the event, there was a main program where the King and Queen were chosen. Something surprising and exciting happened. My friend was chosen as the Queen! The whole venue cheered, and it felt like a scene from a movie haha.

Because Yuan Ze University has so many international students, we can experience a special atmosphere and a strong sense of togetherness. Through this event, we were reminded of how important friendship is, no matter what country we come from.

The time we spend at Yuan Ze University is a valuable experience where we can truly feel “multicultural living.”
